KPI NAME | The KPI Name is the official title of a Key Performance Indicator (KPI) |
NEW OR EXISTING KPI | This field clarifies whether this indicator is newly introduced (“New”), exists from the previous CRF (“Existing”) OR exists from the previous CRF with slight revisions (“Update of an existing KPI”) |
INDICATOR CODE | Unique internal WFP code based on corporate systems and guidance |
RESPONSIBLE DIVISION | Internal WFP division is responsible for the indicator |
MR OUTPUT | Management result output to which the KPI is directly related |
PURPOSE | Intended use of the KPI for measuring performance against the related management result output and informing management decisions |
CALCULATION FORMULA | Mathematical expression defining how the KPI value is derived |
CALCULATION STEPS | Description of the formula or sequence of operations with detailed instructions to calculate the indicator |
DATA SOURCE | Primary system(s), dataset(s), or repository(ies) from which KPI data are obtained |
DATA COLLECTION METHOD | Process by which data are captured, compiled, and extracted from the data source |
AUTOMATION | It indicates whether the calculation, aggregation, and reporting of the KPI can be executed automatically by an information system without requiring manual data manipulation. Possible values for this field are": “Automated“, “Partially Automated“ or “N/A“ |
BASELINE VALUE | Reference value against which future performance is measured |
ASSUMPTIONS | Assumptions are the external conditions, outside of the KPI owner's direct control that must hold true for the KPI to be valid, meaningful, and accurately interpretable, and for progress toward the KPI’s intended target to be measured |
LIMITATIONS | Known constraints affecting data quality, coverage, comparability, or interpretation |
REVIEW FREQUENCY | This field captures the frequency with which the KPI value is measure against the target |
QCPR INDICATOR | Boolean field type (True/False). The QCPR Indicator field specifies whether the KPI is directly derived from, aligned with, or required by the UN Quadrennial Comprehensive Policy Review (QCPR) framework |
UN COMMON/ COMPLEMENTARY INDICATOR | Boolean field type (True/False). This field indicates whether the KPI is recognized as a UN Common (either coming from UN common framework or identical to a KPI from at least one another UN entity) or UN Complementary (closely aligned to other existing UN indicators) |
IS THE KPI A UN COMMON OR COMPLEMENTARY INDICATOR | This field indicates if the KPI is Common or Complementary |
CONTRIBUTING AGENCIES | This field identifies which UN agencies also use the same KPI (UN Common) or use a closely aligned version of the KPI (UN Complementary). It specifies the organizations with which the indicator is harmonized or coordinated, supporting transparency on inter‑agency alignment |
